Our design and surveying teams take great care to ensure that all glass balustrading is made to measure and fits perfectly into your staircase regardless whether you’re opting for embedded or clamped glass, glass spindles or shaped cut-string balustrade glass.

We select experienced, proven glass suppliers carefully to ensure we can install excellent quality glass into our staircases. Our suppliers receive our glass drawings as a CAD file from our design team and then precision cut each panel before sending for toughening.

When Chartered Surveyor James – from Shakespeare’s own county and with the Bard’s grace and eloquence, had decided that his current staircase did nothing to compliment the original architecture of his home.  James and his wife Shelagh decided the time was right to breath new life into their stairs with a call to Abbott-Wade. Chunky, oversized oak newel posts replaced those of the original staircase with embedded glass securing the balustrade.
