Far from being a lonely life out on the road, our design team relish the chance to visit customers up and down the country. With a small, dedicated team of designers with lots of experience, our customers have been enjoying the warm, friendly and relaxed approach you would expect from a family business which is in stark contrast to the more aggressive style and ‘sales games’ employed by our competitors.

There are lots of reasons to choose Abbott-Wade, so we’ve chosen our favourite 10 which set us apart from the rest:

Company director Mike Wade (pictured in red) swapped 4 wheels for 2 in July embarking on a gruelling 3 day cycling challenge raising money for Tunza’s Pride, The Children & Young Persons Welfare Charity; a local St Helens based charity which aims to help vulnerable children and young people in the North West region.
Tiny tips for making a homely hallway
It doesn’t have to be a New Year’s resolution or part of the annual spring clean – decluttering is said to be ‘good for the home and good for the soul’ and now is the time to start! Let’s begin with your hallway, it is after all the first room in your home which your guests will see. We visit lots of homes all over the country and we learn a few things alone the way. We see what people do well and what they don’t. We’ve come up with our 6 favourite tips we’ve picked up on our travels for making the most of what you’ve got. They may be obvious, but they’re important.
The Mail Room
Far from being the part of the everyday grind, sorting through the postman’s deliveries or email inbox can be a delight, especially when it includes messages such as this:
We would like to say how pleased we are with the Oak and Glass Staircase fitted by Abbott-Wade.
From the offset, the company was thorough and efficient. The three man team who fitted the staircase were very friendly and professional. They worked well together, did a very good job with very little inconvenience to ourselves. They cleared away all mess and left the staircase looking stunning.
Thank you very much to Lee and his lads.

Add style to your hallway
A hallway is more than just a means of accessing other rooms in your home, it is, and should be regarded as a room in it’s own right, especially as it probably the first room to receive visitors and usually receives the most traffic and wear and tear. It therefore sounds obvious to identify that it should be kept clean and tidy with shoes tidied away and skirting boards touched up after scuffs.
