Using glass in your staircase
A glass stair balustrade is used in place of traditional staircase materials like timber. Using them helps light to pass freely through your hallway rather than being blocked by wood or steel that is more commonly used to build a flight.
We offer a wide range of glass styles. If you require a full glass staircase you can take advantage of our frameless glass panels. They are 15mm thick. This guarantees the flight is strong enough and safe enough for use.
No building work is required when we are adding the staircase to your home and we only remove your current flight if a change in floorplan is required or if it is no longer structurally safe.
What are the processes that create your staircase?
All you need to do to get the ball rolling is to contact us. We will then arrange a no obligation home survey. A member of our experienced design team will pay you a visit to discuss the design ideas you have for your flight with glass stair balustrades.
We will also talk you through previous similar projects we have worked on and can show you samples of the materials we would like to use to build your new staircase.
Once you are happy with the refurbishment designs, we get to work. We use dust sheets to protect the areas around your staircase while any parts adjustments are made outside your home under a canopy to prevent mess inside the property.
We tidy and hoover your home once the work is complete and any leftover materials are kept for use in other installations or they are recycled locally.
