“We are extremely pleased!”
Our nationwide service takes us all around the country and on this occasion, it was to Colchester in Essex. Colchester is reported to be the oldest town in Britain and, while Mr Wagstaff’s staircase wasn’t quite as old, it was in need of the Abbott-Wade touch, and nobody was left disappointed.

Why a new staircase?
We had moved in our new home which was in need of the ‘Wow-Factor!’
Inspiration:
We had seen an advertisement in one of the Sunday papers and requested a brochure to give us some ideas of how we would like to update our stairs.
Decision making process:
We had another company also come and visit us but we chose Abbott-Wade as they specialised exclusively in staircases. Our designer came out to visit us and made the whole process straightforward and uncomplicated.
Style choice:
We chose a light oak handrail with embedded glass as we had a dark hallway and wanted to maximise the amount of light in the room.
End result:
We are extremely pleased! The fitting team who came out to see us were hardworking and friendly. They were also neat and tidy and completed the work in just one day which was a bonus!
