Mr & Mrs Samuel, St Helens
Why a new staircase?
After a full refurbishment of our home the only part that still let it down was the painted, out-dated 1930’s style stairway.
Inspiration:
We saw various advertisements from other companies showing beautiful oak and glass staircases which we thought would look great in our house so we started some research. We found that it was possible to re-clad the open tread existing staircase rather than ripping it all out. We liked Abbott Wade’s website and read good reviews about them on the internet from other clients.
Decision making process:
After trawling through countless style magazines and watching home improvement programmes on television we decided that a mix of traditional oak-finish with a contemporary twist was what was needed.
Style choice:
We chose a light oak renovation with a full glass infill on the landing, and this successfully combined the traditional feel of the property whilst bringing it up to date.
End Result:
We are delighted with the completed refurbishment and the quality of, both the product & the workmanship is outstanding.
Thanks to the whole Abbott-Wade team involved in the project and especially to Barry and Lee for their advice.
