A staircase should be at home in its surroundings. A contemporary isn’t right for many homes which is why the Brown family quite rightly decided to retain a traditional feel to their new staircase. The Mansfield family were delighted with their new staircase which uses clever glass down stands to comply with UK building regulation. This allows increased air and light flow between the treads. The polished edges of the 10mm glass spindles reflect and refract light projecting a slightly different appearance as the light levels change throughout the day.
